Nepal distinguished not only for its high mountains, but also for its unique culture heritage, artistic monuments and exotic wildlife, which area reflected in the country’s languages, architecture and biodiversity.
Wedged in between Tibet of the People’s Republic of China in the north and India on the other three sides, Nepal is the confluence of two great religions Hinduism and Buddhism. It is the land where Lord Buddha was born more than 2,500 years ago. The capital city, Kathmandu itself comprises seven World cultural heritage sites within a radius of 20 kilometers. Pokhara, the city of lakes aptly situated on the lap of Annapurna is the main tourist center next to Kathmandu. Chitwan National Park, the home of elusive One Horn Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiber in Tarai region. These are all the fame of this tiny country and of course the main attractions of your two weeks long trip.
Check in at hotel and after refreshment, leave for sightseeing tour of Patan City. Patan Durbar Square: No where else can be seen a compression of marvellous monuments within a limited space like in the Patan Durbar Square. Besides the old royal palace, what dominates all others in grace and grandeur in this complex is the 17th century Krishna mandir. Other landmarks within the square are the marvellous Tushahity, Sundarichowk, Taleju-Temple etc. The Golden temple and the terra-cotta temple of Maha Bouddha are the highlights in the vicinity.

Day 02: AM: Tour of Pashupatinath Temple & Boudhanath Stupa.
Pashupatinath Temple: One of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. The two –storied pagoda houses a sacred Clingum or the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Although the temple dates back to the 4th century, it was brought into its present shape in the early 18th century. The temple is most noted for its gold-plated roofs and silver-coated doors.
Boudhanath Stupa: One of the world’s largest stupa of its kind. The unique aspect of this great Buddhist monument is that it is set in the octagonal mandala design. Also set into the riches around this huge structure are the hundreds of prayer wheels and the 108 images of the Buddha adoring the Stupa. Another notable aspect of the area is the presence of about four dozen monasteries around it.
PM: Tour of Bhaktapur City.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Of the valleys three Durbar Square, the Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the best preserved. Still emanating the medieval aura. This splendid palatial complex has its gems in such artistic masterpieces as the 55-windows palace, the Golden gate and the Taleju. The 15th century Dattatreya temple and the world famous peacock window.

Day 03: Day 01: Kathmandu – Pokhara (210 km):
After early breakfast around 7am, drive to Pokhara. A scenic countryside drive of 5 hours takes you to Pokhara.
After check-in at hotel, walk around Lakeside, boating at Phewa Lake and visit of Barahi Temple.

Day 04: Pokhara Exploration day:
Early morning around 5:30, take a drive to Sarankot for outstanding sunrise view over the Annapurna Range. After an hour’s of exploration back to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, visit Davis fall, Gupteshor Mahadev Cave, drive or hike to Peace Pagoda (which is situated in a beautiful hill top above Phewa lake). Overlooking views of Phewa Lake, Pokhara city and Annapurna range are excellent from this point.

Day 05: Pokhara – Chitwan:
Drive by tourist coach from Pokhara to Chitwan (5/6 hours).
Upon arrival at Tadi bus station, pick-up by wildlife resort’s representative/driver to Wildlife Resort. Upon arrival, there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities. Thereafter, rooms will be assigned and lunch will be served.
After lunch, Elephant-back safari: Guests will ride on elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife: the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours.
7:00 PM: Slide presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.
8:00 PM: Dinner.

Day06: Chitwan National Park:
5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, then proceed for Canoeing/Jeep Safari. A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks. Jeep safari by Land Rover starts from canoeing put out point covering the distance of approximately 10km with chances of seeing rare wildlife.
8:30 AM: Breakfast
9:30 AM: Elephant Briefing: To learn more about the life of these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables.
1.00 PM: Lunch at central dining hall.
After lunch, Nature Walk. This exciting walk with the nature will introduce you the main features of eastern Chitwan sal forest, open grassland and riverine jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter.
Evening, Tharu Stick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances. Your participation is highly recommended. ( Tharu dance temporarily halted due to the lack of dancing members)
8:00 PM: Dinner.
Day07: Chitwan – Kathmandu:
5.30 AM: Bird Watching (or another elephant ride on availability) after early morning tea/coffee. Out of 519 species of the birds found in the park, we have recorded 276 species in our area. Our guides will help you to identify some of the species of these birds.
After breakfast, transfer to Tourist Bus Terminal for drive back to
Kathmandu.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Final Departure from Kathmandu:
Breakfast at hotel. Free until departure. Transfer to airport for final departure.
* 3 nights hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and 2 nights in Pokhara on bed and breakfast.
* 2 nights in Chitwan National Park on full board, including jungle safari activities with English Speaking naturalist and national park fee.
* Ground transportation in SIC (seat in coach) basis.
